That is hardly the case. China is sitting back and supporting Putin behind the curtain. we are hoping that Russia and America go to war. When they are through leaving each other in a nuclear heap, that leaves us as the unchallenged world's leading empire. In any case, China benefits from the war in Ukraine, if for no other reason that it exacerbates internal strife in America and makes the USA pledge to Ukraine resources it cannot afford at this time. It is all good for China.

According to what we are seeing in the news, the USA will collapse internally and/or become a socialist state long before 2100.

The are preparing for war as we speak. The invasion showed them what happens, so now they are mitigating that before it happens. They will protect themselves first from sanctions. They are already banning foreign parts from their critical functions. Otherwise, they have sent weapons into Europe through countries friendly to Russia.

China plays the long game. It is not in their interests to have Taiwan in ruins. The infrastrucutures down there are too important. And they do not want to go hostile with the west, their main commercial partner. They will calmly grab it in the coming years like Hong Kong.

It'll be fucking hilarious if China turn on them.
