Bc flying is fun and cool.

Because very few can achieve or qualify for the basic requirements to become a licensed pilot.
I'm commercial, mulit engine, land w/ instrument and rotary wing endorsement.
No sport pilot here.

>Because very few can achieve or qualify for the basic requirements to become a licensed pilot.
This couldn't be more wrong. It's incredibly easy to get a PPL if you fork over a few grand.

i'm shit at everything else

>very few can achieve or qualify for the basic requirements to become a licensed pilot.
literally just need $

Thank fuck I didn't

stone temple pilot?

>It's incredibly easy to get a PPL if you fork over a few grand

Most people aren't willing to spend the thousands and thousands of dollars to do it - it has nothing to do with difficulty. I'm a pilot and fly daily with some of the least impressive people you'll ever meet.

it's not that hard user.

So I could fly into buildings one day.

DOH! Too soon?

to shit on the Ho Chi Minh trail and every commie slant in the jungle

I didn't because I'm colorblind ffs
Guess I'll have to stick with my PPL and aerobatics

have money, get license
its literally that simple
join the air force if you have no money

first job at airport at 15 years old. love airplanes and being around them. start flight training, get busy and stop.

engineering school, corporate job, six figure salary, climb corporate ladder. 5 year anniversary, quit and go to flight school.

CMEL, CSEL, 130k in debt and covid hits and kills aviation industry.

don't want to be a CFI so still slowly building time. hoping they bring hour requirement down for pt 121.

never not happy being in a cockpit.

went to flight school with a bunch of people who should have never been around airplanes or touched them. zero technical knowledge or skills. school forced them through in order to get the pay check. scary to know people like that will be flying others one day.

>join the air force if you have no money
Becoming an Air Force pilot is extremely competitive

t. USAF pilot

Couldn't trust myself even though I thought about becoming an airline pilot

For the puss, obviously.
