I just leave the dongle for my wireless keyboard/mouse in one of the usb ports at all times, connect to my big monitor via the HDMI out and WiFi network when I get home. My laptop becomes my desktop.

That's a good solution. I'm doing the same with my desktop and TV. If you're only using your laptop this way, it's a huge waste of money though. I believe most people don't really take their laptops with them, at least not zoomerfaggots.
