If the inter core latency is still a disaster they're not going to hold a candle to the 5800X3D, doesn't matter if they throw in 64 cores.

Attached: BFV.png (1333x1354, 60.65K)

wow
more e cores exactly what I wanted

>17% faster
>With 25% more cores
>And 10% higher clocks
>Slower than the 12900k that has the same core count and lower clock speed.
Unless this thing is sub $300 it's pretty worthless.

The way I see it 12th gen cpus are good deals for what they offer, 12700 is 1/4 cheaper than 5900x while trading blows with it, rhe only downside is the overpriced b660+ motherboards

Somebody pull up the "X doesn't matter!" intel cope list. Does it even fit in a single post anymore?

Holy shit, c-c-could it be.... t-t-that.... new CPU is better than old CPU???

yes retard, it doesn't matter when it's 1/4+ cheaper
Yup, that's why I'm considering the 12700 instead, I'd wait for zen4 if early buyer tax wasn't a thing
>coping harder to defend a brand on a siamese basketweaving forum, eh?
Unlike you boot-licking trannies, I get whatever's better in terms of performance and price, it could be a chink cpu for all I care, that's why I mentioned 5900x, because I was planning on getting one before I saw that 12700 has same core count with similar performance while being cheaper, plus the fact that zen4 won't work on current b550 motherboards made the choice clear for me.
>y-you're just coping!
I need a PC for rendering purposes not for your faggot propaganda driven "gaymes", that's why I couldn't care less about muh latency, but I know it's hard for you mindbroken faggots to believe that most people actually don't give a single fuck about which brand they buy as long as it gets the job done, but whatever

>16 cores
OK so how many real cores

Give me 10/20 i7 13700k without e-waste cores and maybe ill buy it

How long until you'll need a separate power supply just for your Intel CPU?

>25% more cores
Define "cores"
This confusion is exactly what Intel was banking on when they went big.LITTLE

the 1xxx and 2xxx series cpus sucked bro. they routinely got btfo by the 7xxx, 8xxx and 9xxx series cpus in gaming.
>b-but muh production
people buy cpus mainly to play games, it's a huge portion of the market.
ryzen didn't get good until the 3xxx series.

3 series wasn't good either. It was only recommended because it was cheap not because it was good.
