Windows provide better thermals because they allow infrared heat to pass through nearly unimpeded.

Why don't they make cases with ventilation on the side anymore. Just like how mesh fronts took over all the meme solid front panel cases, wouldn't having mesh near the gpu also just be better for performance. Especially with the cards that have fin stacks pointed towards the side panel, so much of the heat is exhausted into that direction. I feel like this is a case design that should be happening but it's not because muh window for muh RBG lightshow.

They do, you can get a DF700 FLUX with two solid side covers that both have ventilation holes.
You don't need to get the glass panel.

Seems like it's ventilation to under the PSU shroud and then a fan pulls it up...? why? You could just have bottom ventilation if you wanted to do that. I mean ventilation on the side the GPU is actually on, and I don't see that on this on the website. In fact what they're doing just seems retarded, you could simply remove the pointless useless shroud, another fucking stupid trend in case design that does nothing besides aesthetics.

Looks nice indeed, thanks for the pointer. If only it had more storage options… But the airflow seems good, not sure about the filtration. The price is a bit better as well.
