Just switched from VLC to mpv

Any Forums was right once again, it really is the superior player

Video speed algorithm is fucked
VLC just works.

VLC is fine and you have autism

By autism you mean desire to watch favorite videos in good quality?

>VLC

on equivalent hardware with the same video, mpv would just drop a few frames and stutter at worst, good job VLC

Can confirm. VLC is garbage.

I have to admit that I changed it because I was tired of being made fun of on Any Forums with the ''vlcsnap'' filename

Now you just need to uninstall mpv and use the final boss of media players: MPC-HC.

I fucking love Unix philosophy bros.

Why is SMPlayer trashed? its a nice little front end that runs MPV as its engine, its nice to use on KDE due to it having theming.

>Any Forums was right once again
usually I do the opposite what Any Forums says but they were right for shilling Arch a few years ago, am still on Arch.

just wanted to ask this in case anyone here uses mpc-be and knows a solution

ive got my laptop connected to my tv in extend mode
does anyone know why, when i have a video open in an mpc-be window in full screen on my tv and then click anywhere on my laptop screen the mpc-be window disappears behind any other window i have open on my tv?

What are your must have scripts? For me it's mpv-webm and autoload
