I bought a $700 6900xt and dont give a fuck anymore

Ill buy again probably in another 4 years, hopefully I have an 8k monitor by then.

Enjoying my 3070 Ti when I have a chance to use it. I got a kid about the same time I got it so I don't get to play many games.

Upgraded from a 1650 and it's doing everything i need it to so i'm pretty satisfied

Replaced my 1070 by the way.

>built my first gaming pc
>3060 ti for msrp
its running everything great. no complaints here

I bought a 6600xt when prices were high and recently decided to just bite the fucking bullet and buy a 3070 ti so I could sell the 6600xt. The main reason was because I was experiencing CONSTANT crashes that would sometimes require a driver reinstall with the 6600xt. I just got fucking sick of dealing with that bullshit and nothing I did fixed it.

1060 6GB. All the games I play are pre-2015, so it's wonderful. I'll upgrade if and when it dies, and not a moment sooner, just like my Sandy Bridge i7.

I beat you had an Nvidia GPU before getting.the 6600xt

Your sandy bridge still has 10 more years. CPUs are solid.

its actually going to crater so hard when amd releases their new ones ahead of njudea who are going to be floundering with overstock because they and computer stores are too jewish to reduce prices fast now

it makes me sick to see how slowly the prices for both amd and nvidia cards are falling at retail atm, they're trying so hard to scam people who cant just hold on for a couple more months

i have a 3080ti thats watercooled. wish it had 16gb vram though

Went from 970 to a used 3060
5 ms frame times in VR iracing pretty alright

I wouldn't say they're scamming. But they're just doing what they can to sell them above average. They don't want to make any loses.
Nvidia and then aibs created a mark up along with retail.
Right now retail are sitting on so many cards they're doing anything they can to make sure they don't make a loss.
But if anything they deserve it. They should have known what they were doing is unsustainable.
That's why Nvidia dropped MSRP for the higher cards. They told Nvidia if they don't help them sell the cards they just won't buy any of the new cards at launch.
All of them down the chain are shitting their pants.
Meanwhile on the used market the prices are dropping steadily weekly.
I'm just hold off. By Xmas the GPU market might actually have relatively speaking "appropriately" priced cards

I always gen skip so I am never using long enough to suffer but putting it off long enough to get something worth the money.

went from 1060 6gb to a 3070 (on release not inflated)

GT710

The problem is the motherboard costs more to replace than the i7 now

GTX 1080, might upgrade when 40xx gen comes out but not sure. It werks for what I play / do

evga 1080ti ftw3

still holding up very well

I got a 6600xt for a great price and I've had no issues with it but I don't play many games

Surviving with a GT 1030, probably getting a 3050 when prices get better, it's not like I'm interested in triple A stuff

It's a shame the 3050 is more expensive than the 1060 was, RIP poorfags. Did you know the GTX 970 launched for 329$?
