Fuck it i want to write my code with a gui. I have tried tkinter for python and it is pretty good overall but feels very basic. what are some modern day gui's that are commonly used and are good. i know python, java and some C++.
In need for a gui
In what sense is tkinter basic?
the lack of configurability??
just use windows forms
it's been battle tested over the decades and backed by a huge corporation
your app will work great on 90% of the world's computers
go + fyne
it looks okayish now but it's getting a redesign soon so it's a good investment, just like go gets better and faster with each version
could always work with windows forms in visual studio
I use qt
You pic is made with delphi 7
Theres Lazarus and delphi 10.4 community ed. for pascal
Theres also c++ builder community ed.
Yep, that is Delphi. Java, Python and C++ fags will never experience GUI creation as comfy as with Delphi.
kivy
Pain in the ass to use mvc principles for
I personally hate GUIs. I am a TUI chad, the terminal is the only thing you need
Avalonia UI, React Native (there is a desktop version) or flutter (also has a desktop version).
SwiftUI is a great framework
qt
Are you able to watch videos online with only a terminal? Can you display videos in the terminal, but not as text, but full video?
yes
SwiftUI is an amazing framework trapped inside a walled garden
Personally I would go with Qt or pyqt/pyside
gooey
use PyQt or GTK bindings for your favorite language.
Free pascal/Lazarus
Qt, if you pick gtk i kill you
