Just because you see something doesnt mean you are watching it

so i cannot say i "saw" this Seinfeld's episode the other day where George works for the yankees

Just because I saw an ant doesnt necessarily mean i was watching ants.

basically watch is the intentional see

but you saw a movie though

Yes, there is often more than one way to use a word. Congratulations on being this many years old and figuring it out. Did you know orange is both used as a term for a color and a specific fruit?

Sometimes you see something but you don't watch it, so you really didn't pay any attention to it.

orange is not a verb

Yet it's a word with more than one meaning...wow amazing isnt it?

but the topic was about a verbs

night watch

Oh wow two verbs can have the same meaning? Wow, how old were you when you learned that?

both words can have multiple meanings but in a general sense, to see is whenever something enters your field of vision, whether you pay specific attention to it or not. To watch means you are actively paying attention to something in your field of view.

that was a quick response. it's okay, man. you seem to be having a rough day. let's just leave it at that.

Did you know shitting and pooping are the same action? Yet they are different words! Amazing!

this is just what I wanted. thanks m8

I'm gonna orange you a new asshole buddy, believe it!

see
1. perceive with the eyes; discern visually.
2. discern or deduce after reflection or from information; understand.

watch
1. look at or observe attentively over a period of time.
2. exercise care, caution, or restraint about.

kek

ok so. while " i havent seen you in a while" sounds ok, i "i havent watched you in a while" sounds right down creepy

Because the former sound casual, like seeing someone in a shop, while the latter reminds you of a stalker watching you through a window.
You guys might like the word 'look'.
