I got some stuff done but really not much. I tried changing out the light kit in the ceiling fan and it turns out it has a different bolt pattern and it might even be proprietary because all the light kits I see on amazon do not match
then I forgot what else I screwed up.
I had to change a car battery and I couldnt find my 10mm box end wrench so I used a socket but it was uncomfortable so I bought a "cheap" wrench set that had a 10mm for like $7 and I didn't even get a quar-- ok I got a quarter turn but not even a 1/2 turn. maybe it was a 3/8th turn on the nut before I dropped the wrench in the engine bay and for all I know it is still there because I can't find it. the car had a new battery though.
I ended up finding my adjustable nut rounder and professionally rounded the nut trying to get the battery cable clamped to the post
not a horrifically good day but I can pretend like I did something

It sounds like you've been a quite bus fren there despite all of the weird heckery with the CURSED bolts and all of the tools that just don't work perfectly...

I'd view this as a bit of a win for today, now you just need to get the right bolts and some better tools there for MORE wacky adventures like that!

it is her car too and she was out last night with the lady friends and she said something happened and the car wont go. so I went there and jumped it then she took my car and said for me to take her car home and she will be back later.
I kind of got mad at her and accused her of leaving the cabin light on. because you know. I mean who hasn't? well heat kind of kills batteries and it was probably 100F yesterday and today looking at the battery the born on date was 2018 and another thing about car batteries is that they don't really last longer than 4 years and the warranties are not even 2 or 3 so I had some explaining to do to the missus and even when I took it to the battery place they were amazed at how old the battery was.
so maybe next time I will replace it after three years.
