I stopped taking Seroquel to sleep after being on it for a year. I haven't slept right in a week. I barely get anything all night long except for a few hours at sunrise. I'm miserable. And scared to go to sleep because it will happen again.

What did your doctor say? Why are you scared?

I'm scared because if I go to bed, I'll just go through another night where I don't sleep. And it's terrifying sitting in the dark, exhausted, waiting for nothing to happen.

She (my psychiatrist) said it would "be another week or so" before I slept well again, and that I would "gradually get better." That was on Monday.

Then we will have to wait but don't be afraid. What if you get a bit tired before you go to bed? I hope and pray that you'll enjoy your sleep tonight, user. Don't be afraid, please.

Thank you. After an entire week of suffering through this, it gets eerie.

I feel you, user. Stay strong please. God bless you.

While in bed try counting form 1 to 100 and visualize each number in your mind. Your mind will be busy and won’t be able to think about anything else. Works for me every time.
