ye ig im mentally ill. but dysphoria is more of a psychological problem that messes up ur biological instincts than a delusion or disability. but i do consider myself to have a birth defect. i think u guys misunderstand what dysphoria does a lot. i don't have some delusion that i am actually a biological girl, i only ever had the instincts to want to be a girl, and despair over not being one. it is present from birth and never goes away. and u cant change ur biological instincts even if they r defective, but u can change ur body. and by changing ur body, u can change ur role in society to the one u have always dreamed of. only if it looks good though. idk what hppens for the ppl who never pass, i hope they find a community who respects them as women and not as "LGBTs". cause that's why we transition in the first place.
