Google has actually become less usable than its earliest first iteration on the internet. It's complete garbage.

Seriously if someone had the source code for google's first search implementation and just threw that up on a random ass website it would btfo current google.

Just stop using Google. Mojeek has it's own database.

Maybe you are?

why?

So the Washington Compost doesn't get ad revenue.

>not blocking ads
Why?

Using functions like site: or - or "" has kept google as my main search engine. When I really need to find something, it's nice to know it still does a decent job if you're particular enough.
>inb4 other search engines do that too
I don't really care. These have gone a really sufficient job event recently. I used to use bing for porn but they nerfed themselves and now I'm doing google + yandex for porn
My complaint though is god damn, the "lazy" google query gets you absolutely nowhere now. It used to be that page 2 actually could maybe contain the result you were looking for. Now it devolved into targeted ads so fast, your page 2 ends up being some unrelate shit you might have been looking for last week and now there's no way to get deep into results. And that is if you even get to a second page. Anything remotely related to something you can buy adds a ton of shopping results to the page in front of actual web links

You have to use verbatim terms or search from a specific website if you know it already.

What I noticed I cannot do now is search for a bunch of phrases to get good results, I have to type how a boomer asks google a question to get any good results.Having to add quora or reddit on the end of my searches to not get those ai written blog posts.
I’ve noticed Google will fixate on one specific phrase in the search, no matter if you use quotation marks.

We nuke google HQ

(for legal reasons, this is a joke)

just stop using it

>what is user traffic
SEO uses everything

>2020
it’s slowly losing against Yandex

My dad just asked me “how I can use that website that always finds the image source”, yes he was referring to yandex.

i just tried nil return p and it said nil return policy
Google said null return pointer c or something.
I think google gave a better suggestion.
