16 giggers and no I don't ever hibernate or sleep because that compromises full disk encryption. I only shut down or lock screen.

Swap is implemented completely shitty in Linux and everyone should be ashamed. Windows and macOS have memory compression working fantastic, meanwhile most Linux distros require tinkering with the swapiness, Zram and Zswap to get to the same responsiveness as the other operating systems.

Looks possible but it's not a default setup so requires some work and considering my boot time is already very good there's not much benefit to just cold booting. I'd have to enter a long disk encryption password every time anyway which is the longest part of my boot process.
