You have to be at least 18 years old to post here.

I used to be deeply interested in computers and technology for several years starting when I was 11. Actually some of my earliest memories when I was 3 or so were of the computer lab in preschool. I just don't care anymore, I dislike computers, I don't want to mess with them anymore, they are a waste of time and only bring misery. I don't even try to fix problems on my computer anymore because I just don't care.

Maybe you're just fucking retarded

I kinda feel the same. Not because my interests changed but because the industry has. Games are pretty routine and formulaic these days, and nothing out there pushes modern hardware. Computers are as exciting as refrigerators now.

age is just a social construct

i'd go full inside her pussy XDDD

Your mom is a computer

Yes, but as far as the device I take with me, I have a desktop but I no longer have a laptop, I went iPad Pro with the keyboard case.

I like it, but I might switch back to a laptop with the new M2 Air, but still thinking since I will give up a much better screen.

I only have desktops.

Yes, and im almost complete. Took me far too long for what it was due to a mixture of things like poverty, being kicked out at 14, restrictive / misleading information online ( lol just learn python bro! ) and promises of riches that i didnt realize are only there by evil ( ads, proprietary software, anticompetitive practices like vendor lock in ). Led to a need to shift careers. Fuck this gay earth, clown world, etc.

Anyway, save you some time kid and just buy the ben eater kit. You can do it in one summers break and understand the whole thing way sooner than i did

I’ve used my iPhone and iPad as my primary computers for about seven years. It wouldn’t be possible if I didn’t have a home server I could VNC in to when I need to perform a task that isn’t possible on iOS.

>and nothing out there pushes modern hardware
do we live in the same world? i see plenty of stuff that i would say pushes current hardware to its limit

>pussy

I stopped using my desktop for the most part for many months now, just kind of went balls deep with all my "computing" (don't have a job that depends on it---in fact, my job requires mobile app usage).

So I've become fairly acquainted with Lagdroid and smartphaggotry, and my opinion is

it's fucking garbage unsuitable for work or professional usage, the times I've tried to find such software or get it working enterprise grade, and judging by google play reviews and other sources of user feedback, I'm not the only one deeply dissatisfied.

Android is a terrible operating system and ecosystem. You can only have no complaints with a mobile phone period if you are a child. Even the webapps are oftentimes worse than the actual websites themselves; example, Jewgle sticks tons more ads in the YouTube app than the site and dumbed down the controls.

Having owned a modern handheld UMPC, I can confidently say those are far and away vastly superior---physical keyboards, real software and myriad of them, headphones jacks out the box, literally the only things an UMPC can't do is "call" and "text".

The one and only thing I like about smartphones are the portrait view and screen real estate that comes with it (absolutely hate using them in landscape) and the ability to just whip it out and use it whenever you want, whereas an UMPC would require precious more seconds of start-up fiddling. That's a necessary quality for a fast-paced lifestyle.

If you could stick SIM cards in UMPCs, smartphones would be obsolete, as even UMPCs nowadays have touch screen monitors. No benefit other than size and certain ergonomics.

As for tablets, never used one, and never would for sheer virtue of running mobile OS's. Only thing they'd be better than laptops for is drawing.

Cloudfaggotry is a halfstep to whats a compooter.

Hebo.

I did that during my university days and it worked perfectly fine. Probably why I still exclusively use terminal text editors today.
