Buy a better GPU next time.

Oh fuck off
If it can run AAA games at 60fps the problem is clearly not the hardware

perfectly normal behavior chud, that means it's working

Yes the problem is in their drivers. Never had such problem in my NAVI card.

kek

>Nvidia
There's your problem

Scaling the file picker icons down to 16 pixels costs a lot of GPU overhead.
>verification not required

nvidia niggers seething

Blame it on Nvidia's proprietary drivers.

>mid tier Nvidia card
which one?
I am on a 1660 with nvidia-open on Arch + GNOME and nothing stutters.

+ wayland

it's a bug that hasn't been resolved for 4 years

not my problem

1060ti 6gb

weird, with this gpu it should run good.
what distro are you on?

And how will they resolve the issue?
It's clearly an nvidia job that they're not going to do, so next time you know which two other companies release good drivers.

ubuntu
I mean it's not a slideshow but sometimes it eats a few frames
also, maybe it's placebo but it feels like there's more latency than something like xfce, although it's not easy to tell because the devs removed almost every button except the close button and added the annoying drag the cursor to the corner to reveal the menu gesture

Why not use Xfce?

Sure it might look ugly but it's functional and has never let me down.

works on my machine

At least our shit works on Windows. Good luck playing an OpenGL game while simultaneously writing your college research paper (you'll need Microsoft Word so it's in nice and easy docx format, and you need your printer to work).
