maxxed out t480 is infinitely better. i love how they say that framework pos is easily repairable and yet you have to take off the fucking keyboard to access the battery. good luck finding parts in 5 years.

didn't the intel security mitigations also cripple performance on those processors specifically?

it's four screws. if you wanted to replace the bridge battery on a t480 it's close to seven + the possibility of accidentally snapping one of the palm rest hooks.
it's p good. i used an x220 since high school so it was a pretty big upgrade for me. only real complaint is that it follows current design trends (thin, light, aluminum body) when a slightly chunkier design would probably give it way more in terms of port flexibility and repairability. haven't had any problems with mine after a year.
