it's the same as having sudo access on linux(which is what you're basically trying to do on android) and having an admin user account on windows. in simple terms, it means to have more control on your device

This and even if you just don't run Google play services at all, and just compile and install your apps manually, a lot of them will just spam your fucking notification bar that Google play services is missing or disabled.

The only arguable benefit to privacy is that you can remove Google play services entirely, not fucking run some chink clone of it.
Absolute bare minimum running on the phone, compile the rest of the apps you need from source, if they don't work, find new apps.

it literally does all the shit I'd use windows or macOS for and provides utilities that are arguably better at the basics, you just cling to this idea that everyone uses it just to rice because you spend all your time on Any Forums where most of the posters are underaged and post in desktop threads.

there are ways to make most of that stuff work, but if you're absolutely tied to compatibility with proprietary formats it's possible that it's just not the best choice for your use cases. FOSS stuff has just always worked just fine if not excelled for mine, but I work as a devops engineer, not a business analyst or whatever, and I'm not going to pretend like desktop linux is the best choice for everyone (but that doesn't mean it's not a solid choice for some people)
