Is QDOLED the future of monitors, or is it just a fad?

anything curved is just a fad

They keep coming up with new acronyms to scam you consoomers

qd - quantum dot, refers to the unorthodox subpixel layout. theoretically produces better color gamut since R G and B are equidistant from each other
oled - you should be familiar with what this means by now

try not to make it so fucking obvious you were dropped on your head next time you post

>QD
>OLED
Wait wat

i don't care, as long as the monitor as usable

I placed my order for one.

Been daily driving an OLED since 2018 on my PC and I don't think I could ever touch an IPS/VA/anything else.

>oled
into the trash it goes

>infinite contrast ratios and perfect blacks teleport behind you
heh... nothin personell....
*steals $1300 from your wallet*

Touch grass nerd

why would I need infinite contrast ratio when I use my computer with the lights on and not in pitch black darkness like some junkie

for better HDR content

>qd - quantum dot, refers to the unorthodox subpixel layout.
The fuck are you talking about? QD is magical fairy dust that absorbs all light in wide spectrum and emits it back in a very narrow spectrum. When smeared over cheapest displays it can make them look almost decent.

Some madmen actually spread QD particles over shit-tier and/or failed qc OLED panels and called it an improvement.

why am I watching HDR content on a fucking monitor on my PC?

Because video games.

i feel like you're right but your explanation of what QD is sounds more made up

not a single video game has good HDR implementation and that doesn't look better in SDR
>source: me, RE2, RDR2, any Assassin's Creed

Windows HDR implementation sucks dick

forza looked better in the Linus Tech Tips video i watched

am I being fucking trolled? kys my man

>another samshit scam because they can't do proper oled
