GNOME looks like THAT?

GNOME is what every GNU/Linux user eventually settles on. It keeps the good parts of standalone wm autismo while still providing the basic QoL features you'd expect from a full DE. And most importantly, it just works.

based and yuri-pilled

I don't like bloat, thank you.

it genuinely looks terrible

i dropped gnome for awesomewm

Anyone get drag and drop working with mpv under wayland?

no themed

It just works on the latest mpv build, it was a mpv bug.

Hell, it even works on GNOME 3.38, which is the version that Debian stable still uses.

>while still providing the basic QoL features you'd expect from a full DE
Except thumbnails in the fucking filepicker.

>but muh patches/xdg portals
Gnome devs think you're a "clown" who's "breaking" their software, and the reason why people call Gnome shit.

Is that 0.34.1?

This just makes other DEs look even more embarrassing considering that this is the competition and they can't even beat it.

>they can't even beat it
They already have simply by having devs who listen.

Which DEs do you speak of, and how is "having devs who listen" relevant to you as an end user?

kek

>how is "having devs who listen" relevant to you as an end user?
Because GNOME shuffles real problems reported by end users under the carpet due to ego weakness.
