That’d be cool. What would you get it for?
Also, does anyone know what the situation is for getting the mod board for a 1080p IPS display in a T420? I couldn’t find much about it and what I did find were dead links. I’m in the UK if that makes any difference to availability.

lisa with a thinkpad seems out of character
moca seems like she would use one

What's the point of buying a old used laptop from a neckbeard pedophile
I want a fresh one under 1k but even these are overpriced for what they offer

Just buy from Lenovo if you want new you moron

Might not be the right thread but you guys know about docks.
I have a Thinkpad e15 (Intel 11) and a Dell Inspiron 5310 (also Intel 11) and both get excessively hot while using my razer egpu.
My Lenovo just went haywire and I've never felt it so hot I couldn't keep my hand on it at all.

I run 2 external monitors on my 1060 in a Razer core chroma, gpu throttles as 95 and soeccy reports my laptop at 65°c but it's so hot I can't even touch it and I think it's causing BSODs.
What gives this doesn't happen when not using the egpu

Contrary to popular belief, most Thinkpad owners are perfectly normal people who treat their laptops well. We created the "cumming on spillproof keyboard" meme to scare normies away from buying them bc we wanted more for ourselves.

Yeah bro, having a hard on for 9+ year old laptops and making threads about them every day is totally normal

here
I'm loving the laptop.
However it cannot find my home wireless network.
It has an Atheros IEEE802.11a/b/g wifi device.
Can I replace the wifi interface or do I need a USB antenna?

Being this irate about people using old laptops is very bizarre. They fit people’s use cases and can be bought and maintained cheaply, that’s all.

I'm not irate. I have have had a few thinkpads and still do buy them. I'm just saying it isn't normal

I picked up a refurbished x220 a few years ago and am just now getting around to setting it up. The major issue I am having with it is that the mouse curser drifts like a motherfucker on its own. Is this a common issue with this model? What things should I be looking at to diagnose this, and is it possible to replace those parts?

>shitty small screen
>heavy as fuck
