Void with musl libc: starts up in 5 seconds
Works on my machine.
$ systemd-analyze

maybe because your hardware is shit. my machine with endeavourOS takes 10 seconds to boot
I look like that
he's cute
>Windows 11 Pro: starts up in 3 seconds
lelelelelelelelelelelelelelel
not if you turn off fast start
ok pc vegan
I use a Mac not a PC
ok faggot
why doesnt linux have fast start
server kernel
windows without fast boot takes minutes to boot, linux without it takes seconds, we don't need it
fast start is just hibernation after logging out
Debian with systemd starts with 20 seconds on 10 y.o. hardware. Shuts with 5 seconds.
Also i assume you did not boot and shut your system 50 times a day to have any significant impact with those extra seconds.
>ok faggot
>I posted the Any Forumsjak and outed myself as macfag on the same day
systemd-analyze blame
you want servers to get back up fast after they fail
Get owned faggot
