I think you're underestimating the size of this archive a bit. They're hosting about 45 petabytes of data in total apparently. That's 45000 terabytes. Ten fucking thousand 4tb wd reds worth of data.

To install a xpi file on Firefox you need to install an unbranded version and disable signature verification in about:config
You might also need to recompile the extension after adding a manual id if it doesn't already come with one

AFAIK chromium lets install any crx with just one switch, but it will warn you every launch. At least few years ago.
