Adulterating OpenBSD's strlcpy is not "securing" the system.
Doing what GRSecurity does: which is catch things at the kernel level at run time (and thus applies to all programs no matter when they were compiled and under what tooling) is how you do security (OpenBSD does similar now, as does NetBSD: KALSR). This code runs with no permission changes on Grsecurity-Linux compiled to be as mem-secure as possible. It isn't an error in the code.

One of you here on Any Forums asked for a new binary for the game. So I bought a mac-mini for 69 dollars so I could fufill your request.
Yet you now mock me and will not help.
The source is on the iso. In a zip file in the top level. It compiles on mac. It runs. It errors on strlcpy. I am not going to go down a rabbit hole as to how to "fix" this. The old compile from 2012 works fine: showing that it is some compiled-in-code that apple changed in the system and not a run-time problem. Nor it is a problem in the code as it is the same as the 2012 code.

Well, if the code works on Linux and Windows, and doesn't work on Mac, then there are only two possibilities.
1. There is a bug in your code
2. There is a bug in Mac OS
You should use a tracing tool to find out where the pointer you are using is coming from, when it is freed, when it is accessed by any other threads, etc.

Infact the modern today darkplaces code is EXACTLY the same in those areas that are erroring: so they do not consider their code "BROKEN, TSHHHSSSHH!!!" either.
They don't use mac anymore however and probably just see it compiles and call it a day.

You're the people that asked me to do this in the first place. Download the iso and compile it for yourself: I got it that far. It compiles and runs. Errors on strlcpy when the code copies /bla12345/something to a spot that is allready set to /bla12345/something and other similar fag-errors. Which are not part of actual OpenBSD strlcpy (which is included in the code btw (common.h, common.c in darkplaces codebase), but not enabled for BSDs including OSX as they have their own strlcpy (which was always OPENBSD's)
And yes I know I could try a macro that just renames to that: But I do not want to go down this rabbit hole then to just hit the next thing I need to macro around.
