For me it's the Orient Bambino black. I can't commit to the price for a 60s Omega Seamaster Deville yet, so it's the most similar automatic I could find. It's pretty nice though.

Have you tested the water resistance? What is it like?

Yes, it's perfect. Only used it for swimming though.

For me it's the Casio A1000. I have the left with the strap from the right, it's great.

Actually the version I have doesn't have that red coloring on the logo, it's all silver, so it looks better. The bambino logo doesn't look as aesthetic as the omega logo though. ;_;

For comparison

In the office, I tend to use the Bambino because it has the date window, which is critical for me given all of my deadlines. Outside of the office, I like the Timex Marlin. Specifically, the 34mm version that's the manual wind without the date window. I have the silver face. It fits my wrist perfectly and it looks boss. I very much love the 1960s aesthetic and try to incorporate elements of men's fashion from that era into my wardrobe. If I'm dressing casually, I tend to go with the Timex Weekender chronograph.

I'm using a Citizen eco-drive for my daily beater. I'm looking to get the Timor Heritage field WWW, but then I really like the old field watches from the second world war, and Timor was the manufacturer of one of the "dirty dozen". If I could afford it, I would have a collection of dirty dozen watches from 44 or 45, with the Seikosha that was issued to Kamikaze pilots. The only dressy looking watch I'd go for is the Seiko Riki Watanabe.

Interesting. I am a software engineer.

Just why?
- no lume
- poor contrast
- date but no day or month
- no crown guard

Software engineer, but for me, it's important regardless. Back in college, I used to use the Timex Reader that had both a day and date complication. College was such a slog that I would forget what day it was. It's kind of funny that my job is less stressful than school was.

the terrorist watch unironically

Honestly any Casio.

Date and day I get, but why would you need the month on your watch

I like analogue 24hr watches. This is a relatively cheap one I got from my dad as they can get really expensive, but I think it's great. I wear it every day.

to know the month?

It's not something you need to remember or know often like the date, day, or time, and is easy to remember since it doesn't change as often as the others.

if you dont need a month/year indicator in your watch you live too much in a society
