A language for chubby balding men named Bob.

the only good thing to come from microsoft nowadays

It's the best language for interfacing with .NET.
But sometimes you don't want to use .NET.

Strong marketing team, but it's still trash. No cross platform UI development.

It's a pretty good language with runtimes available for Windows, MacOS and Linux. Decent package system with a large ecosystem of libraries. .NET based, so good libraries available for basically anything Microsoft/Azure related.

dumb nigger

It's ok.

Best framework and IDE on the market.
Great for making money.
Not suited for autists here on Any Forums.

If you have a small team asp can't be beat for backend. Large team with offshore go with Java spring. Linq is really the best part in the way it parses collections or sql

makes javajeets seethe

based

It's the best existing language for creating server-side applications but it's not nearly as good for creating GUIs. It's probably the best thing Microsoft has ever made and all the merit should go to it's creator (Anders Hejlsberg, who also created Typescript) rather than Microsoft itself.

If you want to use .Net for creating APIs, console apps and backend stuff, i can't think of anything that would better suit your needs. If you want to use it for Desktop apps, you shouldn't. MAUI isn't for desktop apps, and the rest is Windows only. If you want to use it for gaymes, C++ is better.
The best thing that came out of this language is ASP.NET Core.
