I hate twitter, but it's useful for lurking. Recently these pop ups have been more prevalent- changing to incognito doesn't work. Same with instagram.

For me, it's nitter.it. But only because I use twitter for the sole purpose of hoarding unnecessary amounts of pornography.
You can get past that with uB0, but I can't find a way to see age-restricted posts.
