So hackernews was hacked

Someone was able to hack into hacker news and for a breef moment displayed only a bitcoin address with the words "all your base" "send 10k or hn blongs to Team Diamond Jizm"

They took the site down shortly after. I guess hackernews is no more

did I miss out if I never used that site?
I went there once and it seemed like reddit but for technology

There is already a thread about it, Harold.

With a bunch of the shills in it this is the shill free thread.

>google chrome
what the nigger, use brave browser
>this is the shill free thread
:)

I started to look at hackernews for the first time yesterday

What DE is that?

This is the power of Lisp?

how can you not recognize gnome?

why would I ever use gnome

I guess when you would want a functioning DE made with ease of use and productivity in mind.

I haven't used it since gnome 2. Is the new 3 any good?

No it's even worse.

>your chrome botnet? BAD
>my chrome botnet? GOOD
lol

It's horrible

it's good depending on what you want from your de
it is very minimal but also pretty heavy
it is the most polished desktop

it's modern but if you don't like modern you won't like gnome3

I thought they had a bad disk or something

Is my configuration broken, or are these modern features enabled for everyone?

> focused input in a modal dialog like Save File does not actually get focus, need to click on the presumably focused input every time
> if you have browser video playing in the corner of the screen and switch keyboard layout, the video receives focus, and you have to click on whatever you were in the middle of typing

Lot of other annoying shit I can't remember right now

>botnet
I don't think you know what this word means.
A botnet is something that can be used to ddos.
