Based

>gtk
xfce qt when

Unequivocally based.

>pulls the support rug unless you have commercial licence
no thanks

>looks outdated and ugly

>looking in the mirror

it looks however you want it to look, only braindead zoomers are concerned with aesthetics instead of how efficient they can get the job done

>tried and proven UX that just werks
UX cannot be quantified, and >inb4 muh IBM research thingy from the 80s, xfce cleary isn't following that
>efficient
Only compared to GNOME & Cinammon
WMs claim efficiency
>lightweight
ditto
>easy to customize
Techinally true but with massive asterikses
Customization WILL be janky, WILL be incomplete and WILL probably break upon update
>stable
WMs can claim that too
>reliable
Subjective

>only braindead zoomers are concerned with aesthetics
couldn't even deny it
old is not equal to better boomers. Adapt or die

Will they ever support Wayland

using a desktop environment on linux is a the sign of a true retard
even truer retard is someone who keeps arguing which one is the best
just use windows if you're that retarded lol

>WMs claim efficiency
no they don't, switching to WMs are probably most inefficient thing you can do to yourself
t. used i3wm for 3 years

Why not use LXQT?

If you used both you wouldn't ask that question
LXQT is too barebones

I'm a wintard, I don't really use GNU\Linux. I ask because when I see lightweight desktop environments recommended Xfce is usually recommended for people who want a comfortable desktop experience that is lightweightish and LXDE/LXQT for a further stripped down experience but I don't know what that actually means for real world everyday use.

that means that LXQT does not have compositor, which means that you will experience tearing, Xfce has compositor, thou not as good as GNOME or KDE, so you will most probably have tear free experience

>*xcreen tears*

i use a crt, cope

Works on Intel and AMD for the last 10 years
sorry chud

You can't add a compositor?

you do can but compositors are bloat
