No, Ducky, Steelseries, Razer, Corsair, etc. is not good. You are paying for the brand.

Switches have evolved from the standard red/brown/blue. Use the template and wait for anons to recommend better alternatives.

At least buying skins in Fortnite you impress you kindergartner friends.
Buying stupid keycaps just attracts pedos on reddit.
>5 letter cpatchas are back(?)

It's been switching between 5 and 6 characters for me, no real rhyme or reason i can determine. Happens on mobile and desktop.

where do you think we are? neckbeards with keycaps they can't even read and shit

oh no no no no

I'm going for a thocky build.
Was going for a bakeneko60 but those motherfuckers charge 240$ in shipping fees for the kit alone.
I'm from Europe and Keygen seems to have relatively normal prices.
Am I being ripped off?
Suggest keycap sets please, some interesting GMK one not too expensive,

no you are not being ripped off.

I inherited this mechanical keyboard that is apparently a "KUL-87". Some google searches seem to show the company went out of business. Is this keyboard any good? Worth keeping?

Looking it up it's pretty much par with something like Redragon, these days; one of those premium or "well-built minimalist, you-get-what-you-get" keyboards like Leopold. I draw the Leopold comparison mainly because, like Leopold, it has dip-switches on the back for layout changes instead of software remapping.

Most reviews I can find on it are ten to seven years old. It's an old board and huffs a lot about "genuine" Cherry MX switches, so the fact that it was written when Cherry MX switches had dedicated clones and you'd even feel the need to write "genuine Cherry MX switches" is an indication of its age. There's no market for something like it these days to buy brand new. Maybe add it to a collection or sell it?

For an Actual Keyboard That You Use, and even with an identical "minimalist" or plain black keyboard design, you'd be better served by a hotswap Keychron.

Do you like it?

I have a HHKB Pro Classic. I've seen some topre mods out there that put a ring at the base of the slider to dampen the clack on the upstroke. This seems like a purely sound mod, which I don't care about. Are there mods that soften the bottom out on the downstroke? What exactly are the Type S and PFU Limited doing to silence the switch? Trying to figure out if the silencing mods make the typing softer.

Aren't HHKB the boards without control?

pic is the Realforce R2 PFU Limited, which is not the HHKB but it is a topre board that is (supposedly) super duper silenced.

Thank you for the input.

Yes but I'm not sure how it compares to other keyboards out there. Not sure if I want to spend money on a custom one yet but we'll see how this one goes.
