Is this REALLY optimal though?

is this REALLY optimal though?

Protip: With forced convection, flow direction against gravity doesn't matter.

You might as well just kys if you spend so much money on noctua meme fans and they do shit job at cooling your system

The optimal is whatever is less restrictive, but keep it a single flow.
Turbulence will fuck up that flow.
Also it's important to have more intake force than exhaust. If it's the opposite, air will find it's way through small holes everywhere, thus bypassing the air filter and disrupting the air flow and make it dustier.

>lets blow dust into the pc
you moron, it supposed to suck the air out, not blow it in

for this one specific case, with a tower cooler, yes.

there isn't a single gpu on earth that works like that.

thats how all blower gpu's work you dumb 12 year old.

if you somehow managed to mount it backwards maybe.

sure there are

that's definitely not anywhere close to the airflow on that card.

If your hardware isn't thermal throttling it doesn't matter what your temps are

modern processors run faster if they have thermal overhead. also, noise is a thing.

Should I mount another exhaust on top, flip my CPU fan and 80mm fan to intake? Temps are decent mid 60s on the CPU and mid 70s on the GPU. Definitely not worried about temps but if it can be done better, I’ll do it.

caring this much about airflow and then choosing the closed-off NR200P instead of the meshed (and cheaper) NR200 is fucking autistic.

you lose 1-2fps on rtx for every 2c you climb due to the boost algo

Blowing air straight into the GPU fan that's pushing against it?
This is fucking retarded

which cooler is that?

>cheaper
naw man, the 200p is cheaper on average by 5%

i'd try rear intake yeah, but move the top exhaust to the right and leave the current top spot empty. you're going to have an unfiltered intake at the rear though if you care about that.

it's not pushing against it, have you never seen a gpu in your life?

99% of blower cards can intake through the back

show me one
