It's only Wayland desktops, and it's not absolute numbers, but relative ones. And, considering KDE rose more than 20% while GNOME lost 10% of share, it's safe to say it's not an issue of GNOME sucking, but KDE finally being relevant in Wayland and it's users finally adopting it. If there's a loser in this graph, it's X11.
