Installed Win7 back in 2011, still going strong on the same install. It's a well oiled machine.

> 32-bit
> 2 GB RAM

You're damn right you're sticking with 7, that thing won't run any newer Winbloat version

>changes registry to fake windows 10
>program now works

Nope. I make a point to use APIs that only exist on Windows 10. You try anything clever, it crashes.

What program that is worth using has a developer that intentionally breaks compatibility with Windows 7?

python

Windows 10 definitely feels like the just took 7 or 8 and just gutted most of the OS out of it. Dead ends, features that barely function, features that have buttons that do absolutely nothing (Homegroups). Definitely feels like some college thesis rather than a full-fledged OS.

it's so obvious as well, browser is freshly installed and composition is disabled because he just installed the drivers which you can notice looking at the icon tray

>conveniently ignores the worth using part of my question

7 was the best. I replicated the desktop and UI in Plasma and have rolled with that so far

I was using Windows 7 last month, but I installed Linux now.

Some gaymes were working on Loonix, but not on Win7 and I refuse to use Windows 10 spyware.

like windows 7 wasn't the same
