Gentlemen, how soon until all of our stored Any Forums traffic is decrypted by NSA quantum computers?

Gentlemen, how soon until all of our stored Any Forums traffic is decrypted by NSA quantum computers?

This is not an event I am particularly looking forward to.

I am looking forward to it just to see all the schizoids throw the world's biggest man-baby shit fit

It’ll take you longer than the lifetime of the sun

Wait. We were supposed to encrypt it? Whoops.

What Any Forums traffic is stored encrypted?

I look forward to seeing you spend longer than the lifetime of the sun realizing you find noop

imagine thinking anyone would bother encrypting this dumpster fire.

FBI already has their own archive with IPs btw.

Just blame it on other people using your wifi. I no longer live in a fundamentally Christian country, so mercy and forgiveness are not on the table. Deny until you die. Never stop lying cause you're fucked either way.

HTTPS data is encrypted by default, and it is widely accepted within the schizoid community that the NSA redirects this traffic to their Utah datacenter in the event that they are ever able to decrypt it.

99% of your internet traffic is encrypted just by having HTTPS enabled. These days the NSA can't even see what host name you connect to, only the IP, which you can further obfuscate with VPN.

But why? If they want your IP and posts they will just ask gookmoot

Hehehehe this is a dangerously misleading statement to make

Depends on what types of logs they keep. Sure, they can ask Any Forums for the IPs of regular users, but the shitstorm happens when they actually decrypt the 5-year-old internet traffic of you looking at questionable porn images

I have nothing to hide I browse whatever whenever so I don’t really care but the problem is how do you certifiably assert that an IP packet is yours?

They can obviously figure out when you're visiting more popular websites like Any Forums just based on the fact that they have static sever IPs, but it still stands that they can't see what posts you view and what images you download just from the HTTPS traffic.

Why should I care? If I’m running encryption only at the application layer I’m protected right? It’s not like foreign data is extremely interested in my traffic unlike the NSA. Why should my government bother with my careless traffic?

you realize that https just protects the data in transit right? its not doing any sort of anonymizing on the back end. The FBI runs the servers basically, they know everything you've ever said on Any Forums.

Oh you have a VPN so you’re protected right? It’s not like if you boot up steam you’re suddenly publishing unencrypted steam traffic right?

every phone call you make goes through at least a dozen computers and is stored forever

NSA knows what library VHS tapes i've checked out since i was 10 (M/34)

Oh you have a Brave browser right? It’s not like your brave browser is stamping all your hypertext traffic with “BRAVE” on it right? Oh you have TLS right? It’s not like your secure layer is routing traffic to foreign ocsp servers and timestamping with the same limitations digests and ciphers right? Is that a windows 99 pc? It’s not like your RNG is leaving a fingerprint every time it calculates a certificate right?

Police right now can get a warrant for your address with just a dynamic IP.

And, even if you were using something like VPN, the fact that Google is already so adept at tracking people across the internet doesn't bode well for what the NSA's capability is, especially when it stores the digital footprints of each citizen.

As far as I’m concerned I route my traffic straight to the fbi cia nsa offices what purpose does that serve? I would hope a good one but I doubt it is worth anything. Not my problem
