As kid only, they still ran win 95 in the local library. While we already had win 98 at home.

I am yes. And DOS before it.

Yeah, got my first case of red eyes from playing Hover! on Windows 95 Plus

My first pc was a 95 at about 4~5 years of age. I remember it, learned to install and crack my first pirated game using windows 98 though. Based pirate uncle provided every fucking game there was. KKND, Dungeon Keeper and Red Alert were based.

Also remember playing lemmings and shit with an Amiga as a 2 year old.

Yes. Anyone here play Outlaws on it?

i was born in 2002 and my first pc was a 98 machine. does that make me an honorary boomer?

i somehow made it shit itself while using paint once

no

??? what a dumb post

It was the first x86 OS I interacted with. Before this I used a ZX Spectrum clone.

Yes and it was garbage like every other version of Windows.

First hand-me-down computer of my very own ran Win 95.

it was pretty good

I got a win95 machine in my kitchen right now, playing wc2. Well I wiped it and playing in pure DOS mode, but still.

Dude im pld enough to remember DOS.

Our family PC had WfW 3.11 up until 98's release, so we pretty much skipped 95.

I did a fresh install of 95C/OSR2.5, booted it and left for the country side for 4 weeks
came back and it had somehow eaten all the ram and shit was randomly crashing
just from sitting after a pristine install with nothing launched
what a meme os windows was/is

>Windows 95?
Yes as a child from a handout PC.

Yes, I used it until 2004 until I got a new PC with XP. I used it to download and print porn which I gave to my friends at school, one of which got detention for it. So yeah, memories.

I was born in '97. Windows 95 was the first OS I ever set my eyes on.

I was 7 when it was released. My dad came home with a big box and I helped put it all together. I can't remember a time in my childhood where I was happier. Sometimes I listen to the sounds on yt and pretend I'm back in 95.

i'm old enough to remember this

Yeah. Got it with an IBM Aptiva computer in 1997. Before that I used another IBM with Windows 3.0 (later upgraded to 3.1). 1997 was also the year I first got home internet and a PS1. Good year for me..
