Male Poon

why don't you just give it a try, just 1 (one) once.

I would like to, but it's not in the Debian repos.
Is it available on Flatpak?

I rather use trannyfox

It's ok on my 2GB laptop, but on my desktop I just use firefox

theyre anal about packaging it

they're anal about their branding, which isn't that unusual
the actual policies mentioned aren't even uncommon, the thing people complain about is their lack of social finesse (autism), which i think the average Any Forumsent would be hard pressed to criticize themselves

I would like to, but it's not in the FreeBSD repos.

It's my third browser, use it for porn sites, so my main browsers (Firefox and Firefox developer edition) don't get their history/suggestions polluted.

Just set Firefox to always be in Private mode.

Would use the browser if it didn't freeze for 10 seconds every time I went to a bloated website.

my solution was to stop using bloated websites

True, but I still think the browser should be able to handle it anyways.

I switched to SeaMonkey and I like it very much. If SeaMonkey could fully replace Firefox for me, then I wouldn't have a problem using Pale Moon as my secondary browser.
I quite like it, I just don't like the furry.

I used it as a daily driver from approximately March of 2021 to September of 2021. It was intolerable. I was house hunting at the time, so I would look at 20-30 real estate listings a day from my saved searches. On PM it literally takes 30-40 seconds to load each listing on Zillow, and then if you want to look up an address it takes as long or longer to load Apple Maps via DDG or Google Maps directly from Google, and Spotcrime typically just crashed the entire browser necessitating a restart. YouTube didn't work, but that's not a huge deal since I use FreeTube 99% of the time anyway. Other video sites had buffering problems and stuttering, probably because of lack of hardware accel. Even modern news sites, I'd be reading an article and go to scroll to continue reading, and the entire browser would be locked up and I'd have to wait 20-30 seconds for it to respond to scrolling attempts.

I ended up switching to Gnome Web, which at the time was a crash-happy mess, but could at least render websites in a timely fashion. In the last 6-8 months or so, Gnome Web has improved dramatically. I imagine it was an update to webkit2gtk rather than anything the Gnome devs did since they are usually adept at only one thing, and that's fucking things up. But I haven't had a browser window crash since probably January. On rare occasion a tab will crash and have to be recovered, but it never kills the other tabs or the entire browser like it used to. If you want off the chromium/gecko duopoly you're basically stuck with webkit, unfortunately. PM ain't up to the task, and that sucks. We could really use another workable browser engine.

Do people still use Male Poon? I completely deleted the ManchildProductions GitHub account not that long ago

i did because other WB used so much ram but it was lackluster

I did.

Is this the furry browser?

yes.

Using fringe browsers is stupid and a good way to get caught up in an incident that would never otherwise happen. Just wait until your indie dev has a melty.

Agreed. Tobin had a meltdown and attempted (and failed) to dox me. Although he's not involved in that community anymore I will never be involved in that community again.

I don't even know what it is.
