How to download MP3s in 2022?

Hey Any Forums, after years being a normie cucked by Spotify I decided to rebuild my MP3 library from scratch.

How do people download MP3 nowadays? Torrents? Any p2p like Shareaza/Ares/LimeWire? Ripping from Youtube with ffmpeg?

Deezerdownloader(don't remember the exact name) for most music.
For shit like japanese editions I just search the torrent

yt-dlp works just download and rip from music videos or albums people upload

yt-dlp and jewtube

YouTube or torrents for bachs

Actually I was trying something called WireShare but I liked the yt-dlp thing.

For FLACs I'll go with torrent. Any decent trackers?

Shoah sheek.

Damn, Any Forums really is retarded

Care to elaborate?

Youtube has pretty bad quality in most cases, even compared to 320kbps mp3s
I don't know if there are better ways for pop music, but for less popular stuff I simply google the artist + album name and add "zip" or "rar" in the search field. You'll find some pretty well made sites, and a lot of simple blogspot pages with links to one click hosters
It's at least better than YT in terms of quality and you also get whole albums/discographies with one download, most of the time with correct meta data/cover art already added, sometimes even embedded lyrics and so on

torrent

i just use soulseek

soulseek is the closest to kazaa but everyone's autistic on there and don't like to share their music.
rutracker is a good way around it.

Souruseeku

redacted dot c h

just keep using spotify
mp3 and wav has bad quality

the music you're listening to has been re-encoded quite a few times before it hits your ears and it was often shit quality to begin with from the uploader.
ripping from soundcloud is even worse quality.
you should only use those methods when there is absolutely no other way to find a song.

yt-dlp since bots upload direct rips all the time
its not amazing but it is easy

I just use a VPN and get them from TPB. It's easy to rip from YouTube, and the quality is decent. There are mp3 sharing clients still, but they're harder to find than before.

But honestly, I mostly just use Spotify. Of fuck.. Ive become normie, all that I once hated..

Google deemix or use soulseek

>Ive become normie, all that I once hated
>I just use a VPN and get them from TPB. It's easy to rip from YouTube, and the quality is decent
you were always a normalfag

I use a hacked version of Pandora from many years ago that blocks ads, gives unlimited skips, and allows you to save songs you thumbs up. they're only 128k, but it's an mp3 who cares.

Not him, but you're wasting space and time by reencoding audio from Youtube because it has abismally lower bitrate and on top of that you're transcoding from low bitrate VBR Opus to probably CBR MP3. Reencoding is only worth if you don't care about the (arguably imperceptible for many) quality loss and you want to:
>Save even more space by compressing it further, useful for podcasts
>Apply audio filters, mostly useful to trim parts of certain extended versions or long music compilations with a fade in/out, or increase a bit the gain.
At the very least choose a more modern format to save space. Is pointless to not do so. Opus is serviceable at 64k for music but even 96k is already an improvement from 128k MP3 with no audible difference.
