Funny way to write Debian

yes. Next question?

Pop OS

The default is so ugly

This

it used to be, not any more though
gnome 3 is horrible (ubuntu tames it but its still bad)
and now snaps killed the entire *buntu family

mint is peak 'just werks' now

get just works hardware and all ganoo loonixes just works

That new logo lmao

t. linustrannies

better than debian anyway

Pop OS for "just werks" Gnome
Mint for "just werks" Cinnamon/Mate/Xfce

Canonical on their own is an untrustworthy mess, both Mint and Pop do a nice job cleaning things up. "distro of a distro of a distro" besides the point, Canonical being a sloppy mess is exactly why Pop and Mint's existence is justified.

>snaps
>systemd
I don't think so, Tim.

No, that's Mint

no because you might as well install windows and have something that actually works and isn't budget windows with a ton of extra steps.

>extra steps
You canät really use that analogy on prebuilts VS custom machines.

this never works. they don't give a shit about desktopp anymore. use plain debian or redhat/fedora.
ubuntu is a cancer

More like Ubackdoor.

>just works
>every other snap package is broken in some way

inb4 just remove snap
why bother with a distro where i have to remove this shit if i can just use a distro that doesnt force it on me?

>and now snaps killed the entire *buntu family
I use Kubuntu 22.04 without Snaps.

my motherboard WiFi doesn't work with Ubuntu LTS because the kernel version is too low

I've legit had less issues with Ubuntu over Debian.
Debian ships with plenty wonky ass configs for various software that are fixed on Ubuntu.
That said, Ubuntu does some stupid shit it self, but generally I have to put in less effort to get Ubuntu where I want it then I have to do with Debian, so thats all I really care about.
