Right. The goal isn't a change in sex, but gender. It's more outer appearance than anything. Often, most trans people just get on hormone treatment because most surgeries down there are barbaric and most often lead to complication, like a lobotomy.
So protip to anyone who happens to stumble on this thread, don't get the surgery. They'll probably puncture the colon wall or something horrible during the surgery, and it just looks like a disgusting open wound with blood and pus leaking out.
