I think it's totally fine. It actually shows how useless sporting events are. Besides, this isn't new at all, people have been finding ways to game the system for a long time. Think hyperbaric sleep chambers, steroids, even mechanical enhancements. Anyway, long story short, sports have always been stupid and arbitrary and it's laughable to start drawing lines in the sand, we're long past that.

I'm all for people doing wtf they want with their bodies. I know it's often mental conditions driving people into transitioning, but I think it's fine if it makes em feel better.

But I don't think ex-males should compete in women's sports. There is a biological difference, and in this case, I heard he even has his dick intact! What even makes him a woman? The long hair? That he "identifies" as a woman?

Even if I trans women have a female experience in society, the biological differences in sports makes it different.
Why not have a special class for trans people? Or only allow people who transitioned pre-puberty in women's sports?

That was my whole point. How much is "too much"? Some things are accepted but some things aren't and the reason is largely arbitrary. So we can no longer draw lines about what things are accepted and what things aren't because sports is becoming increasingly irrelevant.

Even if you don't believe in trans, it's trickier than you think to come up with a proper legal definition that covers all possible edge cases and medical conditions

Edge cases aren't the norm. They are used to obfuscate a simple issue. We are talking XX and XY, not XXY, etc.
