I seen a dude win like $58,000 once. They gave it to him all in cash and he had security escort him out. Was pretty interesting

Used to all the time, most I've won is $13,500 in 1 day. Now I just put that money into Coinbase and gamble on cryptocurrency. Honestly more fun and better returns.

Not bad
I just saw some guy last night hit for $101k

Gambled a bunch in Vegas, Atlantic City, and Bahamas. Biggest loss in a night $400. Biggest win $525 playing roulette. These days just sports betting and fantasy. NBA has been fun this season, so many points, overs baby!

Been trying to crack Keno spot-7 for a long time, it's 5k base that jackpots (up to around~15k).
I've won the spot 5 twice, at $640 each early on when I installed the Keno app, i've probably put the second lot of $640 back in trying to crack the spot-6 ($1,800) and spot-7 (5k+)
I don't bother with the spot8-9-10's which are in the tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, and the millions.
I buy the odd lotto ticket, and grab whatever smaller lotto's are on that week that are usually only ~$4 a ticket. I've never won anything much bigger than my money back x2.
I don't like slot machines, I don't have any real interest in card games.

used to play online poker before obamafag banned it. made about $8 an hour but had fun so it was good income
Otherwise i buy a single ticket if the lottery is over 600million. pot odds become about even so why not.

OP here
I’ve been trying to hit a 10 spot with multipliers on .25 denom max bet on keno for awhile now. The most I’ve hit was for $1200. I really hope they state increases the jackpot tax amount because $1200 isn’t much.

online, i lost $2000

The most I lost in a day was 5k
Over all it was a fun night though

Anything you win is good, don't get greedy, that's how you give it all back. Bankroll management is important. Just like your personal finances don't overspend/make poor decisions for the fuck of it.

Was browsing/b/ when an AMA with a Vegas casino worker was happening. Super interesting. Turns out slots is about the most even odds you get at winning these days, thanks to randomized software. Lower denoms with multiples is the key to big yields. I went last Christmas. First time ever. Didn’t win and got the rona. Also some nigger broke into my hotel room and stole $800 cash. Still had a blast tho. Going back in Oct

You’re not wrong

My old boss would play $500 tickets on spot-10 every week for years (Very good job, semi retired, no kids), he made 9/10 twice. But after seeing what goes in, I play the divisions more in my depth.
He's also buy $500 of lotto or scratch offs every other week (again guy was doing fine, this was his hobby outside of work), but what i noticed was he'd get back an average of half his ticket price in minor prizes, so his $500 ticket really only cost him a more comfortable $250 (which he saved for next week). There where times he'd more or less not win, but times where he'd pick up a minor division and get a couple K, so he definatly had peramiters he'd play by.

Used to date a girl that liked to hit up the casino. We would only hit the penny machines to make enough money to pay our drinks for the night.
One time I won 500 dollars which was cool
Buddy of mine won 10,000 which is cooler but he was playing a different slot machine

We have machines like that in the back room at work, but I'm not supposed to say anything.
Oh well.

And he probably lost 75000 gambling the few years prior

Hmm yes, let’s see.. according to my calculations those pokies are in Australia. Yes brilliant, carry the one.. ah yes, as it turns out, I’ve lost tens of thousands of dollars on them while getting FUCKED UP WITH THE BOYS DRINKING TOOHEYS NEW GOOO THE FUCKEN BRONCOS YOU FUCKEN CUNTS FUCK NEW SOUTH!!!!

Statistically true but in reality it is not. Slots used to pay a lot of little jackpots and it was fun. Now slots pays the same amount out but in fewer bigger jackpots. You either win thousands or nothing and it is usually nothing.

I knew a guy like that, walk in buy us both a beer on tap, and he'd just walk around the room, going from machine to machine, and keep bringing more expensive drinks to the table. He was done when he had enough to buy something good from the bottle shop on the way out.

My granpapy gave me $20. I gambled and lost $10 and put $10 in my pocket. I win bish.

Fucking crusing out whoop whoop in the ol' vr commie, middle of nowhere pub drop 2 bucks in the pokies pull out a fiddy, right on to the bottle0 buy a box of woodies, only fuckin 500km left to go fuck yeah bois shitface by the time i'm home pass the wnnie blues

Couple years back friend of mine won 20k playing blackjack. Any win over 10k you have to pay tax. So he calls a friend to come down and join him and pretty much they burn 2k drinking, gambling, and dinner so they could cash out at 9k in chips each avoiding the taxes. He has 18k and fucking gave it all back the following weekend, kind of sad. He's doing well now married, kids and doesn't gamble but losing that much was a low. We confronted him and got him help.

In straya', all winnings are classified tax-free income.

Slots are set to pay out a percentage if what they take, usually around 75%, but they're adjustable
If you keep paying the same machine you will more than likely lose

Fuck yeah mad cunt. I’m fucken smokin 2 Winnie blues rn cunt, never exhaled in my FUCKEN life. Might go down to the mangroves later and see if I can’t find a nice strong bloke to fuck. Maybe kidnap a couple fucken backpackers and tie em up in me pig shed LOL nah only jokin mate hahaha FUCK TRANNIES

But he would've kept more of the money if he'd just paid tax on it

Haha sweet, in Merica they tax every fuckin thing.

I gamble on sports occasionally

I was way in over my head with it a few years ago, pre-covid. I was up $28,000 within 3 months of football season before being down $8,000 in debt and money lost. I don't do the casino shit or slots because that faggy kiddie shit.
