Basically what happens is your insurance foots the bill. So your copay is either $35 or 25% whichever is minimum. Insurance pays the rest.
So, no, big pharma still gets as MUCH money as it wants. It just means insurance now is required to offer it and foot the rest of the bill. Aka, welcome to your premiums rising via socialism that is medical insurance.
Big pharma can do whatever they fuck they want, bill does literally nothing to stop them from overcharging. In fact, this kneecaps insurance from being able to tell big pharma to fuck off for high prices. Now they HAVE to offer insulin for cheap.

The law literally does not regulate or cap market price for insulin. It just forces insurance to provide it at a cheap price. Big pharma still free to price gouge the insurance all they want, and now that it is legally required to offer insulin in the plan, they can fuck you over EVEN MORE THAN BEFORE.

You need to stop looking at who you dislike and thinking they are the problem. Both parties are complicit in taking money from pharma lobbyists but they come at it from different angles where the Democrats want the government to have more control over drug prices by making it cheaper for people but not cheaper for the government. This is how the Dems buy off their voter base by making it easier for them but worse for our government.
Don't get me wrong they are both crooks and pharma lobbyists target both parties and moreso depending on who is in power more.
Ivermectin is another one where Democrats laugh it up "horse paste" but there is new evidence out there from Japan that it was more effective than the clinical trialed pharma drugs that were being made for COVID-19;
