You DO watch videos at 3.0x speed or above, right?

You aren't a smoothbrained cretin, a sheep of the herd, one of the masses that watches YouTube videos, university lectures, speeches and debates, and so on at 1.0x speed, right Any Forums?

Obviously, there are exceptions. If you're watching a SOL anime or something, the point is not to blitz through it. However, otherwise, if you are smart you should be able to get through content much faster.

Also is this even the right board for this? I couldn't think of a fucking board to post this in.

Unless the jewtuber that I'm watching is a braindead that speaks slow (Like Joel or Jerma) then 3x speed is too much for me.
2.7x speed is perfect for everything else tho.

I watch it as 3.8x speed with MPV, YouTubers talk so flippen slow because non English speakers can't dot the effort to learn English better or put the speed to x0.5 and complain on every video that they can't understand when we speak fast, and now everyone has to suffer with YouTubers speaking at x0.25 speed by default

I'm mainly refering to educational YouTubers of course, other YouTubers often does it to increase watch time because dumb kids watch it at normal speed

>tfw audio processing disorder and adhd

I watch everything at half speed, sometimes quarter if they're talking really fast, it's so comfy

you probably scroll youtube videos to watch on your phone while watching a video on your computer. you might even watch one on your phone while the computer one is playing and convince yourself you're taking anything in at all

If the goal is just to take in info and the presentation doesn't matter at all, I don't watch videos if I can avoid it. I read far faster than 3x.
If the way it's presented matters, changing the speed runs the risk of destroying that effect.

The only problem is when the YouTuber has an accent. I can't understand this fucker with his accent when I go over 1.70x

It's okay just wait for speech to text AI to get better.
I don't have ADHD but lessons are usually slow as fuck for me too, I might sound retarded here but I think I'm smarter than most people, so when the lesson is paced for the masses, I get distracted, learn poorly and fail, but I've done well in classes when I have recordings and can watch at 3.0x speed (okay more like 2.5x maybe)

I don't watch lectures at all

I pass my classes by browsing Any Forums and telling people to install Gentoo

I watch all tech youtubers at 2x. Entertainment stays at 1x.

same, but i've been watching youtube at 2x speed long enough that im completely used to it now. 1x speed seems incredibly horrifically slow
sometimes i want to use 3x, but im too lazy
i still watch shows at 1x speed with subtitles, though

i would, but attempting to learn 3 languages fried my brain and made me ESL

4.0x here

>I watch it as 3.8x speed with MPV
How can you watch faster?
MPV changed it's audio filter now it doesn't output at higher speed.

>You DO watch videos at 3.0x speed or above, right?
no
>Also is this even the right board for this? I
also no

1.0x, naturally.

>youtuber plays someone elses video @ 2.0x
>"oh no you don't"
>*changes video speed to 0.5x*

>only 3 languages
kys mutt

if you want MUH TIME SAVING, how about not watching youtube all day instead?

I need captions to follow along a video at 2x. I can catch what they're saying but having the text helps a lot with comprehension and staying engaged. I can do 1.5x at most if I'm listening to something in the background.

I watch english videos in 2x speed, german in 1.5
despite being my (sort of) native language, it's hard for me to follow german above 1.5 speed

>attention span is so low you need the video to end faster

your image is cringe
you are not smart
you do have ADHD
you are not special
