who cares?

sure!

I shoplift constantly. But only from listed companies. They're all fucking us, so why not fuck them back?

Ethical? No. Moral? No.
Get a job tyrone

What's the difference between ethical and moral?

Money is speech. Corporations are people.

So you are really stealing someones free speech

Sounds like commie talk

Its not ethical to kill one to save ten
It is moral to kill one to save ten
Or maybe I got it backwards lol

Is it ethical? No.
Are you going to hell for it? No.

Its not ethical to kill ten bad to save one good although it could be considered moral

>thou shalt not steal
you had 10 jobs user

Which companies

Witch companies

Pretty sure it's a commandment because of life-ruining theft, like cattle rustling. Nabbing a chocolate bar from your local billion-dollar establishment is probably not what Mr God had in mind

You do know that said god drowned most of humanity because they weren't following the rules he hadn't told them and that made him mad.

People have always had consciences though

Sure, I agree, I was just trying to point out that this god fellow doesn't really have a track record of being reasonable.

If a company is listed that means it is jointly owned by all of the shareholders and the largest groups of shareholders are pension funds and endowments for universities. How does taking money from teachers and firefighters make it more ethical than from a privately held company that when you fuck them over you are only hurting venture capitalists and shit?

stealing isn't a moral thing to do. big corporations probably steal things like information, patents, etc, so ethically speaking, stealing from an unethical business is in the grey area.

i would say context matters. if a big corpo has a clean record (ie no scandals, no bribes, etc) and is actively helping society by doing things like large donations for charity (not for tax reasons), then no, its not ethical.

if the big corpo has a history of theft of intellectual property (like what microsoft did) or unethical treatment of employees (like amazon), i would say depends what you do. are you stealing for yourself, or for everyone (like stealing and releasing microsoft's proprietary software source code)

honestly, if you have to ask if something is unethical, it probably is

ethical? No.
moral? Fuck yes!

Kek

According to my personal moral framework, every single business currently in existence is only able to operate by committing Moral Wrongs (thanks to our capitalist society that functionally has only one method of profit generation: labor exploitation) so stealing from them, while also wrong, is acceptable behavior.

Teachers directly contributed to this mess
Firefighters are directly responsible for protecting massive corporate holdings

Nothing is ethical in capitalism

Is it moral? No
Is it ethical? No
Am I still going to do it? Yes

>Firefighters are directly responsible for protecting massive corporate holdings
Youre grasping at straws now dumbfuck.

Only if they are right wing. If they are allies, they must be supported, given all of our money, and allowed to control our media and lives.
