Yeah, the oil prices were going up before The Russian invasion, mostly because the biden administration is essentially stopping oil companies from drilling domestically and shut down the keystone pipeline. But yeah, shutting off the 8 percent (at low estimates I don’t know where you got 3 percent) obviously isn’t helping and the biggest impact on our economy is that we get a lot of fertilizer from Russia which is impacting farmers heavily. That’s why inflation is up to 12 percent (overall) but things like gas and groceries which have the greatest impact on working class people are up by a lot more.
