Do kids in USA really say Pledge of Allegiance every morning at school? Seems like some Orwellian-tier brainwashing to me.
Do kids in USA really say Pledge of Allegiance every morning at school...

yes, that flag has done more for me and you than either of us could in a lifetime.
American are just the niggers of western civilization
Everyday. Every... day...
I did, and my kids do.
It used to be near universal. Now it depends on the school. You're allowed to opt out I believe.
In cub scouts they learn the proper way to handle a flag and dispose of it when worn out.
A piece of cloth is only useful when it gets chilly
Yes and it was based
I wonder why it is so rarely presented in American movies. I only recently learned about this and I've seen thousands of American films.
Probably a Jewish thing
No longer required (Supreme Court 1973) and one can opt out but must remain silent as rest of class recites it.
does that count as a citizenship award
second post best post
So majority is still doing it out of their will? Kinda strange, I would assume kids would rebel against such thing, especially teens.
BAM. That's the long and short of it
Yeah they should talk about tranny cocks instead. Kill yourself
It would seem that way to a piece of shit with no values
They do and did, thus the ruling of 1973 prohibiting mandatory participation in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance by State or Local. Still required at some formal Government functions though.
Funny, I was just talking about this the other day with my wife and how strange it seems as an adult now looking back.
I repeated it for the first time in well over a decade and it seemed like some strange indoctrination shit. Why the fuck are kids required to pledge their allegiance to a flag?
Saying it as a kid you are just saying words. They really don’t mean shit to you.. well me at least. Was just going through the motions. I’d be okay if they got rid of that weird ass culty “Pledge of Allegiance altogether really.
you're retarded, your brain is empty like a nigger's world is. That flag has meaning, when people see it, they either feel good about it or feel hate or fear.
I'm honestly surprised forced patriotism is shoved down every adolescent's throat and they accept it.
When I was a teen I hated most of the things that were forced on me, and so did my peers. I have no idea why american teens put up with it and don't complain.
Every country has a pledge of allegiance, even in Cuba, as children we're taught a poem that ends with "sovereignty or death"
Yikes lol
Do you suck Putin's cock every morning or every other morning comrade?
For those of us who were born during a certain time period, we took the words to heart and meant every word. Times have changed, thoughts and attitudes along with them.
I will defend your right to believe or not believe in the meaning but allow those of us who still honor our country and flag the same right to do so. :)
So it is intended to be indoctrination. US for a long time was bringing in many more immigrants than today. The goal was to make sure their kids became loyal citizens. Now it's just part of the day to day even though most schools have very little immigrants. It was probably a good idea at the time but but is a bit archaic. Biggest issue for me was in the 50s they added the 'under god' line.
But do you say it everyday at school? I don't think any country in Europe does that.
The worst thing is that now for some reason people in UK have started putting there hand over heart when ever the nation anthem is played, fucking stop it that's an American thing
