tips on graffiti? gonna finally pick it up
(ignore the shitty cans I'll get better ones soon)
i'm still pretty new to it, just have fun with it and try to create your own style, sometimes i write stuff down before i tag it sometimes i just freestyle it, watch videos on youtube of people doing it that's what i did
Study and practice. A lot. Search for videos, read some stuff, get into the culture and practice a lot on paper. If you don't practice a lot on paper, your style is gonna look shit for a long time. Then you'll pick up some stuff that you can only learn through painting walls and using cans. But the paper is gonna be your best ally. Also, have a tag. Practice your hand style, your flow, don't go right into trying pieces, that will also slow you down.

One good thing about living in Socal is all the tags I see. I've seen some crazy ones where they climb up hard to reach areas. Not sure how they manage to do it but I give them props.

You're kind. I blended multiple layers of spray paint with hand drawn stencils, sprayed around edges and corners of paper, dripped paint through folded glossy cardboard, and some mild pallet knife use.
