Women ruin everything. That’s why men are in charge of everything.

k never bothered watching weeds. looked like a faggot show

she wasn't in breaking bad, was she?

no but i meant the wife of walter white ruined the show like nancy did with weeds.

>start show
>bretty gud
>funny side characters
>hm starting to notice mc is kind of a slut
>lingering mystery behind her dead husband's legacy throughout the series
>after much foreshadowing and background, arc finally reaches its apex in season 5
>the "big reveal" is that her husband was a literal cuck who used to whore her out to random dudes around town while he watched
>tries to paint him as some kind of hero for this
>dropped instantly
there, saved you the trouble and time wasted

so you're saying that the show would have been better without skyler? you do understand that she was written to be obnoxious and that her purpose as a character was to create conflicts for walter. breaking bad without skyler is a vastly different show and I would argue it wouldn't be better because there'd less realistic conflict for the main character. you are confusing your dislike for a character that was meant to be disliked with the idea that the character made the show worse. what a fucking man-child argument.
>never seen weeds so I can't comment on that part

why do white women love smoking weed and having sex with black men so much?

Hey fuck you I liked that show

Liiiiittle boxes on the hillside

I get that point I'm just saying female characters are very often portrayed in an overly annoying way. And I've noticed this pattern in a lot of series and movies. it's almost like the director wants you to hate them. I love breaking bad and weeds but both of the female actors ruined some parts of the shows.

I hope you realize then that you are making a feminist argument about representation. I'm assuming you also hate female leads that are good at everything. Or would you just prefer shows with no female character at all?
These are all genuine questions, not trying to rattle you.

Nancy was a decent character imo, Walt is what drags down breaking bad to being unwatchable I made it halfway through the last season and quit, better call saul is a masterpiece though

I do indeed hate female leads that are good at everything for no reason. There is never a good backstory they are just suddenly all better than men. It's low hanging fruits. And it's not a a feminist argument because i'm just talking about their representation of the fictional character in the movie not about the Actress in real life.

I dont know what it was about Weeds, but my wife always wanted to fuck after watching it.

I need to dig out the DVDs and have her watch again.

I kind of get where where the other guy is coming from. There have been plenty of female characters I like. But a lot of the time I feel they're trying to portray a strong female, but succeed only in making a bitchy character

so for the sake of playing devil's advocate:
I would argue Walter White was good at everything for no reason. Like yeah, he was a chemist but he planned things that couldn't be planned and the only explanation was, well he's smart. Even Gus Fring had a bit of that. And the feminist argument you were making before is that women are not portrayed well in tv or movies. I kind of get that argument. Most women I know is dumb or annoying or obnoxiously perfect but most female characters are at least one of those. that leads to people like you hating all female characters as a rule which could arguably influence your opinion of women in real life. that's what I meant.

yeah, no, I totally get it. I do think it's a bad idea to have a room of just guys writing female characters for that reason. The character will be flat and it won't service the story. at best it will only serve itself. I enjoy stories with credible characters regardless of gender and hate stories with plot-armored characters. I can't stand james bond cuz like, he's never going to lose. No matter how the odds are stacked, he always has a way out. It's the superman dilemma and I don't really enjoy stories like that.

Weeds was such a stupid fucking show. When it was still airing it was all my friends would talk about. I never understood the appeal.

>that leads to people like you hating all female characters as a rule which could arguably influence your opinion of women in real life.
That's true, and this is the reason why i wonder if it's a psyops?

I like female characters from movies like Aeon Flux, Tomb Raider and Resident Evil but they are not comparable with the new "strong woman" cliché character that are just annoying. It's the same with some male actors btw, i hate the fast and the furious movies (except Tokyo drift) because vin Disel is a fucking cliché. Bruce Willis and Keanu Reeves on the other hand are top actors but like i already said the most modern strong woman in movies just want to imitate them instead of creating their own personality.

The fact that they called it “WEEDS” when no fucking stoner ever called weed “WEEDS” with an S made me think that this was a shit show from the very start.

Why do black men love to eat da poopoo so much?

Men weren't in charge of this show. It was created by a woman. So I guess you're wrong.

The only thing that ruined Weeds was going on past about season 3-4. The stories and characters just ran out and got forced into ever more fucking goofy scenarios.

This never happened
Stop the bullshit
That woman is insufferable
She even ruined Fried Green Tomatoes

Skyler was poorly written. Most women characters are poorly written because there isn't much content out there to pull from.
There's a difference between Skyler being a catalyst for Walt's behavior, and her just being an absolute drag.

Mike Judge said something about women characters; how none of them are very interesting.
