If the plane was traveling at terminal velocity "free falling nose down no brakes" it would hit around 10,000 feet per minute. 30k feet in under 2 minutes isn't 'almost free fall speed', it's significantly faster. I wonder if this plane invention had engines that allowed it to travel beyond 120mph somehow. Please investigate Einstein

It would appear the plane took a nose dive for some reason. Near the bottom of the descent the pilot tried to pull up and recover the air craft. He likely over G'd the frame and snapped something off maybe even wings. Then it falls to the ground
