they follow the: getting more and more shit every year since the release of ibm beamsprings

I just want a 100% ortholinear keyboard produced by literally anyone and I'm happy.

>touchpad instead of number pad
Why?

One device for couch use with TV. My desktop is regularly hooked up to the TV for movies and stuff. This thing is a godsend.

Because this is just basic home office keyboard. Not everyone who uses computer is crunching numbers on daily basis or coding. Why Any Forums autists has such a hard time to accept how broad pc user base actually is?

How many keys do you really need?

I have the exact same keyboard.
Like said it lets you use it as both a mouse and a keyboard.
It's not fantastic but it's enough to do basic tasks like opening and scrolling though a website, or opening a movie while sitting on a couch.

There is also a Thinkpad version with a clit mouse instead of a touchpad.
I prefer that one but it confuses normies when you have them over.

like this?

Because it's not really comparable to the circuitry of a laptop/desktop the tech we've used has largely stayed the same and not needed to evolve. Think about a hose/spigot. If it works and works well what's there to improve?

That laptop looks like something that comes with a Netflix key

Programming doesn't require a numpad.

The worst thing about that keyboard is how you have to press Fn for the function keys
Yes you can change it with software but it doesn't remember it when you boot another OS and in the BIOS

Every laptop should be like this

This thing is amazing
KDE connect doesn't have remote keyboard input so i ended up buying this and now I can do a bunch of shit from my bed

>right-handed mouse user
>left-handed trackpad user
is this normal?

They do though. Every 18 months they become twice as shitty.

>L/R speakers next to each other on the same side of the laptop
Does this person not understand how stereo sound works?

Just look at the plastic spikes on the palmrest
It's obviously an autist project
